Walmart is actually sometimes really expensive (like 3 bucks for a freakn' pack of paper... i think not!) Target although, has great deals on lots of school items. Try dollar stores as well, for crayons, makers, glue. Usually at the Dollar Store these things are cute too, with little characters on them.

At some schools (elementary), on the frist day of school they offer a pack with all the school supplies in it froyou can buy.

Target has a lot of good deals.
I got crayons for 10 cents per pack and markers for 50 cents per pack and 10 spiral notebooks for a dollar earlier this week.

Walmart is pretty cheap, and you'd be surprise at the stuff you'd find in a local dollar or 99 cent store.
