I am 14 and took an onlline IQ test. I got a score of 135, and my friend got a 164. Is this OK for a 14 year old?

On an IQ test average score is 100. As long as you are above 100, you have a solid IQ. I am not sure about the reliability of these online tests but if your IQ is 135, you are in excellent shape.

The IQ tests are calibrated to compensate for age, so that a score means the same for any age. But a score of 136is well above the average of 100, and so you must be quite an intelligent girl.

I took an IQ test online for fun and scored above average (don't remember the exact score). However, I'd be very leery of an IQ test that's online and just look at the score as something for pure amusement.
Think about it...these online IQ sites want people to go to their sites so they give people high scores so they can show their friends how high they scored. Then their friends take the test, score high and tell more friends. Would you tell your friends about your "IQ score" if you only scored say 75? I doubt people would go and tell everyone "Hey, look how dumb I am!".

thats good, but keep in mind that most on-line IQ tests are not very accurate and tend to score you much higher than you would normally get.
