You can stop being so selfish and support him in his decision. Your nagging him to not do something he really wants will do nothing but drive him away from you and make him resent you.

What's a "prist"? Oh, you mean "Priest" ... If he won't listen to you when you talk to him and tell him what he means to you then I guess he's either a closet homosexual and deserves the priesthood or you're not his type.

Start by talking about his reasons for wanting to go into the priesthood and give him a valid argument to every point he raises. If that fails, just tear his clothes off and f**k his brains out!

You cant even spell correctly, so are you kidding me? He needed a booty call apparently....so nada, nothing. Now if you were an educated lady, with high morals or had a big ranch like the one in "Thorn Birds"...you'd still be stuffed.

Someone that has an idea of no sex anymore and a love of God who may or may not exist, has issues...BIG ONES...or he likes alter boys. Come on.....

A man that goes after priesthood, and who may attain that, generally has to have a huge IQ, knowledge of several languages, dedication to his God. Sex is good, fine but no comparison. You can love all you want (as a bystander) but as with popstars...if they dont know you as a person exists...or have another agenda...YOU are not going to fulfill any of his needs.

You dont have any control over his goals, wishes, needs...so bow out, with thanks for what he has given you...the ability to know loves exists. OR slang him off for leading you on...its your choice.

If you love him then why would you want to stop him? Tell him your worries and fears. If he actually ends up doing it then he knows the problems that it could incur.

But being a priest wouldn't stop him from getting married or having children so what are you worried about? Is it just because you don't want to go to church every week?

You can't stop him. If he desires this then he must do it. Strange though, because most guys are studying in the Seminary for a long time and don't really have time for dating. You didn't mention your age or that of your boyfriend. If you are VERY young, then all may change anyway.

Forgive the personal question, but have the two of you been sexually intimate yet? If you have and he still wants to become a celibate priest, chances are your relationship would have never worked out anyway. He's going his way; and as painful as it may be for you, you'll just have to go yours. In the end, you'll be happier for it.

Tell him how hurt and devastated you are if you are to lose him. If that doesn't stop him from picking up the priest robe, there's really no stopping him. God will have good plans for the both of you...you just have to obey God's will and wait patiently.

why would you want to stop him if you are truely in love with him, then you shouldnt let it get to you. Also only a few denominations do not alow priests to marry. If he is dating them most likely he will be fully able to marry and date once he is a priest.

There is probably not much you can do, other than to tell him how you feel and make sure he knows if he does this he loses you, it might not be worth it to him, and if it is then you should find someone who will put you higher in their life.
