I have met this man and for the last year we have been speaking nearly every day!!
He is the sweetest kindest man i have ever met. He is honest, not a bad looker, but he lives a distance away.
Do you think there is any future for us?

I think there might be a chance that there is a future for you folks. Have you guys ever talked about dating or anything? It doesn't matter how far he is from you. You folks can work it out no matter what if that's what you both chose to do. My husband is in the military an he is gone for half a year every year an yes missed most of our kids growing but we are still together because we want to be so we make it work even though he's far away an we're a happy family, but that's just an example on letting you know that distance doesn't matter as long as you love one another. So yes I do follow my heart an it has never let me down.... not yet anyways

Only if you really want it. My bf used to live five minutes from my house and now his 1 1/2 from me. His here every weekend and that's enough for me. You should always follow your heart. What's the worst that can happen? i always say you should do what you want at the moment cuz you may not have another chance to do it again. Go for it! Plus the only thing that can happen is you two will be together sooner or it will not work out and you move on. Best wishes for the both of you.

I think that if you make one then there is one. I didn't follow my heart when I was younger and I married the wrong guy. Why? Because everyone told me it was the right thing to do and marrying the that I really was not the best thing for me. Well the first guy and I were married for 1 year and 2 days. He left me on Christmas Day, what a jerk. Now I am married to the one everyone told me not to and I am happier then ever and I would not change it for the world.
I believe that you should follow your heart even if it hurts. At least you would be true to yourself and know that you tried.
So yes I follow my heart.

hey my friend
there is no way other than following your heart. i was in your situation before i followed my heart and i didn't made a lot of objections for myself. you would be better to get free from any negative thoughts that hold you back. you will be very successful if you follow your heart and as you said he really worth it and deserve it and never mind about the distance. cuz distance is something external which is nothing can stop you 2 to be successful is your relationship. i wish you luck and happiness wherever you are.

Yes, their is the boy I met over the Internet, and it's like we will never leave each other. Once I got really angry at him and I said goodbye to him forever, then a week later he e-mailed me that he was committing suicide, but I stopped him. Now we still talk, and we love each other very much, we are the best of friends, and we are going to meet each other one day, it's destiny! ^_^

My heart is a moron, can't follow that sucker anywhere, but I think that maybe you have feelings for this guy, and that you know better than anyone if it is a situation that can work out the way you want it to.

Doesn't matter what a bunch of strangers on the internet think. What do YOU think? What is it that you want out of this relationship? What are you willing to sacrifice to make it work?

Definately ! If you like each other and your both mature enough to deal with the distant issue I don't think it'll be a problem.
