Recently found out that my boyfriend that I have been with for 10 months has been lying to me. Fooling around with a woman that knew I have been staying with him for the last 2 months. IM'd her and found out, she has no regrets for it and thinks he loves her. Told me he wanted to slow down a couple of months ago, and now not sure. Still called me his girlfriend a few days ago.We are not kids I mean we are both in our 40's. Life's too short for games I suppose.Doesn't make it hurt any less though.

Sorry to hear that you've been hurt so badly. These dam computers make it so easy to be unfaithful within relationships. Like you said your not getting any younger so I'd suggest that you cut your losses now and move on. Hopefully you can find someone who is not so unstable and is truthful with you. Instant Messaging, e-mailing, any type of conversation with people on line is considered emotional abuse and nobody should have to live like that.

Move on. You are too old to fall for highschool junk like a woman living with "your" boyfriend anyway. If he said he wants to slow down but "isnt' sure"... what he's saying is... "Im looking at a possible replacement for you, but I'd like you to hang on hold til I've decided if she's more fun or not... and if she's not, I'll come back to you"...... now really, you KNEW that in your heart when she moved in with him, didn't you?

As you said, you are not kids anymore. Move on, let go, it will hurt for a while but it will be the best thing for you to do.Let love come to you, don't go out and look for it cause that's when you run into people like this.Move out now would be the best and begin anew life.

How long can you trust a person who lies to you !! I know its hard to live alone but its harder to live with low self-respect and no love. cut short your losses and move on with life.

If he is really sorry, I would consider giving him another chance. Being alone isnt fun for most people.
