If the Power Rangers and the Ninja Turtles teamed up, maybe...Now if it was the Power Rangers getting in a fight with the Minutemen, well, they'd get pwned.

This is a pretty silly question, but you don't see me ragging on you and answering questions just for a measly 2 points, eh? Think before you speak (or is it type?).

No, they were violent and resorted to fighting as the solution for everything.

The Minutemen are simply watching the borders and reporting infiltrators to the authorities. They may be armed, sure, but a number of Border Patrol guards and other people have been killed by illegals sneaking into this country, so it is a necessary measure of self protection.

Calling them terrorists or racists or anything is LYING.

I think the Minutemen do a Good Thing by getting people to really look at the border issue. They have a lot of opponents, most likely some of those opponents are people that are getting deported, but whatever...at issue is the cross-border migration that this administration doesn't seem to be too terribly motivated to do much about, which is why cities and states are taking issue with it.

In the grander context, you have to start talking about influence, and one of the things that Mexico would like most of all in the whole wide world is to have enough of its' citizens become american citizens so they can in turn vote pro-mexico on issues like immigration. Well, that's not what immigration's all about. Emigrating to the United States is all about leaving the problems in your old country behind, not dragging them with you. IF people are emigrating under false pretenses, such as increasingly seems to be the case with Mexico, then it's only right to call the whole process into direct question and have issue with it as Congress has done/will continue to do until it's resolved satisfactorily. The american public, of which I'm a part, is really interested in seeing this issue successfully resolved, and a positive sign of progress is that the Senate has approved building up more of the US/Mexico border.

Mexico needs reforms. They're marching in the streets to make that happen, but they're also marching in america to make demands of our country that we give them a lot of money, feel sorry for them, and basically let them do whatever they want in our country etc. Mexico's helped pave the path for that, and this has been the work of decades. But, there's a snag: The 50 states as we know them today belong to the United States, and they won't be given up lightly, no matter how bad Mexico would like to annex Texas, California, New Mexico etc. Yes, their economy is weaker than ours. No, that's not a good reason to just open the gates wide. Yes, Mexico needs to rediscover their independence. Yes, the border fence needs to be built. And yes, we need to support the US Border Patrol. Since the Minutemen are doing exactly that, and helping to bring this issue to the forefront and the front page of the papers, I support them as well.

Our country's called the United States of America. That name covers 48 contiguous states, plus Alaska, and Hawaii, for a total of 50. Mexico has its' own states, it's own currency, its' own citizens, and its' own problems. If they can't/won't try to solve them, then the problems need to at least be kept out of OUR country. I really don't feel like that's asking a lot. We've given Mexico tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars over the years.
Despite all this free money, Mexico can't seem to support itself.
When is enough enough? Write your congressman today and tell him you support the border fence, and better immigration enforcement. It's only fair to the 280 million people that already call America 'home'.

IGNORANCE AGAIN. The Minutemen are not guards. They simply watch illegals crossing into the US and report them to the Border Patrol. They do not have the authority to stop illegals and they understand that.
