Sounds like the problem is that you are not seeking the girl, but rather the chase. It's a common problem. Many people want what they don't have because there's sort of an instinct to chase and conquer (we are animals after all).
Unfortunately that will often leave you either by yourself or in poor relationships. You will end up chasing down gals that really don't want you that badly.
So...maybe you should stop chasing (incidentally, everyone seems to want to be the chaser, so when you stop running towards people. they often run towards you) and really start looking at the women that are interested to see what about them may be worth your interest in return.
The reality is that dating is a numbers game. There will always be people you want that don't want you, and some that want you that you aren't interested in. The more you meet the more likely you are to find someone with a mutual interest.
But seriously..look at what you are chasing and figure out why that's where you go instead of going where you will succeed.

Especially about themselves.

Filter out those that love you and if you come up empty go looking for them instead of waiting for them to look for you
