Hmmm... in a bathtub, when you're a construction worker not secured to his place at a high altitude, while driving at a high rate of speed, on a rollercoaster ride, while parachuting, while swimming, while canoeing by yourself, while walking down a flight of stairs, really anywhere where you aren't stationery or secured and could lose your life from other factors. And honestly, as a nurse, if you're alone just sitting on your couch, you'll be fine. You go into your seizure and when you come out, you sleep. When it would be a concern would be for people who have complications during/after their seizures or if you were alone out on a ladder or something.

My daughter started having the preliminary signs of a seizure as she was descending the stairs to a subway station in NYC! She immediately sat down on the steps, put her head down, and fortunately had only a brief mild seizure and did not take a tumble. After the seizure she saw a police officer and asked for help, and he hailed a cab for her. She was just 19, and living in the city alone, the rest of her family was 3,000 miles away. Fortunately she got home okay, and all was well.

From an embarassment stand point I can see what you are saying although at least you have a more legitamite reason unlike passing out from too much drinking while there. From a safety stand point I think it would be worse to have a seizure in a pool.
