Exactly what are the rules to dating after 30?

Is it okay to date multiple people? Relationships after 30 seem to have different needs now especially if you have kids. What is okay and what's not?

Love takes time! Lust seems more in demand these days but it's SO shallow!

Lord, i wish I knew the answer to this one.

As someone who got back on the scene after a long hiatus, I can't seem to get anything right.

Unlike a teen, as an adult, you have a life outside the dating world that is important to who you are.

You also know how to compromise and when to compromise, and equally important, when NOT to compromise.

I'd suggest your needs and goals outside the relationships come first, and do whatever it takes to help with those goals.

No matter what the rules are, you will break them. You move too fast, you move too slow. You're too clingy, you're too aloof. You want too much, you want too little. Etc.

Go with what feels right, and screw the rest. And stick with nice. guys.

After 30, you may only date one person for the first 17 years, and that person must be at least 50 years old. After that, you can date two people but each date must be at least 5 years apart. Clear now?

Well I think as long as you arent in a committed relationship with just one person it is fine to date around with all kinds of guys. Isnt that what dating is all about? You are looking for "The One"... and how will you ever find it unless you meet all different kinds of people. Just make sure the kids arent in the mix...until the right one comes along!

Only rule is be honest. If you intend to date multiple people tell the people you are dating that you are. If you find one that really catches your attention, tell them you want to be mutually exclusive... but, always honesty is most important rule if you want something WORTH having.
