If your weight is 61 lbs, then you don't need to lose weight, you need to eat something! If you miss-typed, and you're weight is 161, then I would suggest an aerobic workout, jogging, even doing a program like Power90, Yoga Booty Ballet, or Slim in 6. They really do work, my wife and I are proof of that. The prices are reasonable, and you can get more information on them for their parent site (below).
Other things to consider is that you should make sure to have a well balanced diet that has lean and complete proteins, and doesn't overload on the carbs. Something like fish, poultry (baked not fried), and red beans and rice.
I would also consider talking to you doctor or a nutritionist and personal trainer.

If you are 5'1" tall and weigh only 61 pounds, you are extremely under weight - not over. You should weigh about 100 pounds (if not more). You need to be healthy to take care of your baby. Start gaining weight. See a doctor too. You probably have an eating disorder such as anorexia. My 10 year old nephew weighs more than 61 pounds!

Are you sure you want to lose weight? Getting your tummy in is a matter of muscle tone and not of weight.
here's a link to a good article about weight:
http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/dieting/weight_height.html
the weight watchers' site says you should be about 100 lbs. and if you are breast feeding you might want a bit more. 61 lbs sounds dangerously thin, actually.
to get your tummy in try this, which worked for me:
belly dancing belly rolls - stick your tummy out and then pull it in but the top first and thenn the middle and then the lower,,, and pull it up, not just in....
the weight of the baby and adapting to his body has stretched the muscles out and over the 9 months they have gotten out of shape. it is just a matter of strengthening those muscles again.
do sit-ups... look in the mirror and practice your posture... straightening your back and lifting your tummy. it will take about 6 weeks to really get in tone, but it will if you keep at it.
meanwhile.. for the sake of your baby and your health, please eat enough of healthy foods.
PS It just occurred to me that this person might not be in a country that uses our measurements and might mean 61 stone or something. I don't know what the equivalents are, but my advice stays the same , that exercise and a healthy diet are best.

At 61 pounds, you don't need to lose weight... and slim sauna belts don't do squat. Light weight lifting should help with toning your body.

Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

I'm going to assume you mean 61 kgs. Weight lifting and cardio is good for muscle tone and weight loss.
If you are 61 lbs, eat more and lift light weights to build muscle and gain weight.

I hope you are joking. 61 pounds and 10 months pregnant and you want to lose weight and get a tummy tuck. If it's not a joke, you need to get some mental help because you have to be insane to think that you are overweight.

Hi, you have what is called body dysmorphic disorder.. BDD:
Generally diagnosed of those who are extremely critical of their physique or self image, despite the fact there may be no noticeable disfigurement or defect; individuals secluding themselves from social interaction, often avoiding seeing themselves through a mirror or reflection.
61 lbs is underweight by about 40 lbs.. did you mean 3 ft 1"?

i would just suggest exercise over things like the sauna belt. Sure those things may work short term but exercise will give you long term results. Try doing some cardio and maybe concider changing your diet

weight loss tips
Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.
* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.
* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.
* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.
* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.
* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.
* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.
* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.
* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!
* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.
