I was with my dad for a week and i had left my cats with my mom while i was gone.
so after one week of vacation, i come back, and i see my cats my first one was okay, my second one was normal, but my girl cat her voice/meow was scratchy, deep it sounded like she had some thing in her throat(which she didn't, but she still was happy to see me). it was different from all the voices/meows she used to make; i also looked in my cat book but it didn't say anything....do you know whats wrong with her?

lol....that's cute...you're having my same experience...when I came back home I heard my cat's voice exactly the same way you describded it...so I thought she was cold and wrapped her in a warm blanket....
But the good news is That's called purring "Which is a sound made by cats when they are happy or pleased" so you should expect that to happen from now on evreyday you come back home after being out for awhile...
SO RELAX NOTHING'S WRONG ON THE CONTRARY, YOUR CAT'S HAPPY!

Ask your mom if the cat was meowing more than usual while you were gone. If so, she could just be hoarse. Like people, cats and dogs can "lose their voice" if they "talk" too much at once.

I have never heard about it. Most propably ur cat is not going through puberty but just to make sure, u can always take ur cat to the vet.
