Because he doesn't exist!

I can tell you of two incidences that I have seen His power.

First I have been involved in Holiness, Spirit Filled Churches most of my life, and most of what you see on TV I would run from. While I do not disbelieve most of what I see in these Churchies, I admitt that you rarely see definative acts of God that a non spiirtual person would stop and say man that is God. But there was a time in our church life that an old man became our Pastor. He just led by example, a life of prayer and service, he did not claim to do miracles ect, he just claimed God.

One night as our service started he fell across the altar in a spirit of prayer. The Spirit was so evident across the church. It was like a fog. The preacher prayed and prayed. After a while he stood up and told the church that all he knew was that something bad was about to happen and that the church needed to pray. The next day a deacon's son fell off a tractor unto the pavement on his head. He was rushed to the hospital and treated with no permanent injuries. I truly believe that God could have prevented this from happening but instead He chose to have our prayers intercede for him instead.

The second time was concerning a small boy whose mother decided that she would rather play the whore than be a mom. We were on vacation with the boy when his face started to draw sideways. I quess that the strain living near a Mother that did not even want to see him was just to much for his soul to bear. My wife and I became brokenhearted and sarted to pray and cry off and on for about three days. I had been fighting a very serious medical problem and while we were praying for the boy my condition took a very positive turn for the better. This was several years ago and I am still doing fine, and by the way the boy's face is juat as hansome as you could want. There is no sign of the distrorted face or any apparent pshcological disorder. He is happy and loves God very much.

So the way I see it the New Testament Church had woderful powers to spread the good news. Now we have the wonderful Spirit of God to live right here with us. It truly is a marvelous time to be a Christian.

In the 1950/1060's there was a great revival here in the U.S..

Most of God's power was shown in the form of healings, miracles, deliverance, feeling His presence.

Some of these people had large meetings across the country and include: A.A. Alain, Oral Roberts, Katherine Coolman, McNutt, Jack Cole, and others. (I do not know if I spelled their names correctly).

And there are people who still have His gifts today (although I do not know of anyone with a large ministry).
Try going to some different Pentecostal and Apostolic Churches in your area.
Also there are a number of books and videos about what God is doing to day. The 700 club has a few videos, Guide Post has some books. (One book I like is called "Small Miracles").

In answer to Kithy; Those who Peter's shadow passed over were healed, Oral Robert (and others) would pray for a whole group of people and many would be healed at one time, and many have done a greater number of miracles that Jesus did.

Really? You've never seen it rain? Never seen the sun shine. Never felt the wind blow in your hair? Never seen tropical fish and all of their different colors or at least read about them? Everything on this planet is a miracle of God's existence and proof of His powers. I mean come on, the miracle of child birth, that's just one of God's many powers. Don't think His powers are only going to be seen as something that is as earth shattering as a big bang or something. It could be anything from the waves of the ocean to the destruction after a hurricane. Good or bad, these are all God's powers.

Jesus is God. The Trinity is the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Your acceptance of the Son as your savior is your ticket to heaven. God came to earth in human form once and the next time he arrives his kingdom will be established. There will not be another “visit” and as far as powers, prayer has healed many

I just wanna know who has powers greater than Jesus. The Bible claims that Jesus tells his followers they would go on to do greater things than what he showed them... turning water into wine, walking on water, healing with a touch...

We haven't seen any god, and we also haven't seen it (if it exists) display any powers.

Your question demands evidence, but rests on assumptions with no evidence.

pretty self-contradictory.
