Not sure, but is the Southwest USA there is a Furr's Cafeteria. Do you suppose they get many orders for the house specialty hamburger.

i don't know all i know is it was created by a guy named phil romano in 1980 in san antonio texas...
must be a texan thing... here our fuddrucker's are horrible ghostly places with crap haning off the walls covered in 3 inches of dust caking itself into fossil layers.
the music is god awful and the odor of grease and dust cut into your sinuses.
the carpet is dull and murky..
i am glad the name stands out because i don't like the joints and i avoid them at all costs.
i have no idea where the name came from i've not seen any explaination of it...
yet.
only things i've heard are.. "it rolls off the tongue" and it's a name you can't miss.
over the years folks have been (not very many) petitioning to change the name because some call it too close to "offensive".

I don't know, but I DO know my 15 year old and all her friends get a real charge out of the name, just straddling that fence of propriety! LOL
BTW, The food there is awesome! The chili cheese fries are worth the trip.

THEY NAMED IT THAT SO THAT PEOPLE WOULD THINK IT WAS FUNNY AND GO THERE SO THAT THEY COULD TALK ABOUT IT LATER AND LAUGH ALOT.... KIND OF LIKE THE THE CHICKEN RESTAURANT CALLED BIG PECKER IN MARYLAND SEASHORE AREA....... GUESS FUDDRUCKERS HAS T SHIRTS TOO?
