Do nothing. I tell my daughter this all the time. If you don't know how you feel or you don't know what to do, don't do anything. If he likes you and you don't feel the same, just tell him that you are flattered, but you just want to be friends.

Well, do you have a good friendship with this boy? All good relationships require friendship and trust. Without them the relationship will fail. I would try to be really good friends and then in time... maybe you'll start to really like him too.
Find some interests you both share and build on that. Become best friends and help each other out. And when the time comes, you'll know if you'll start to love him or not. If you don't, that's great... you already are best friends! If you do... then you already have the friendship base alright there and you're already ready for continue your relationship with him.
I hope everything works out and it works out for the best!

I understand, you are in a fix. He is not a type you may fall for, nor also a boy who can be written off. But when you decide to have friendship with someone, why should you compromise? There is no compulsion. So ignore him. You are too considerate a girl, it is O.K. But why you should not have a guy who fulfils all your requirements.

ok ive come from alot of experience, first it depends what grade your in, you dont have to tell me ill just put a list later on. second, you have and shouldnt have any obligation to like him. unless he has done something nice for you, dont worry about it. if he just thinks your cute, he'll get over it, if he really does like you this is what you have to do; nothing at all. just wait for him to do something caring to get your attention. then you have a reason to like him.
Ok now for my grade chart.
4th and lower-forget about it, its just a little crush. it would be extrememly hard to carry through 6th and 7th.
5th.- still just a crush. you'll feel obligated to like him but the feeling will pass. trust me
6th& start of 7th.- you may start liking someone now. thats good, go with that feeling. see where it takes you.
7th- guys may start to ask you out. your choice from here on in.

Do what you feel. Don't force anything. If you really don't want him that way, just tell him so. Just try to be nice about it. You never know when you'll be the one in his shoes and want someone to be kind in letting you down easy.

Go outside and play and stop thinking about boys until you mature enough that you know what you want and who you like.

Spend time with him and get to know him. You can't determine that just by seeing him in passing. But don't lead him on. Make it clear that you are only trying to get to know him.

I'm not sure if you should just try to like him because he likes you, that's desperate! I think you should just tell him that you don't like him and you aren't really interested right now!
