My dad says never to mix it with dairy products. Many people get sick if they drink OJ with their breakfast because they drink milk at the same time. Milk is more of basic and OJ acid, some stomachs don't care but others don't appreciate the neutralisation process... Try drinking it two hours after breakfast like during break time.

First, are you SURE it's the OJ? Have you tried eliminating other things from your diet first?
It could be too much acid that early in the morning. Try the low-acid varieties found in most stores.
Or it could be that if you're drinking OJ with cereal, its mixing badly with the milk. Dairy & acid NEVER go well together!
Try switching to a different juice - like apple, grape, cranberry, etc.

1. You're probably not used to it. 2. I find it's best to drink it before or aftre, not with breakfast. Perhaps it has too much pulp or acid, for you. You can buy it in a carton at the market and you can get one that says, low acid. Or even low or no pulp. I prefer Tropicana.

Try waiting about 10 to 20 minutes after you brush your teeth. Toothpaste makes orange juice go sour.

you should not drink OJ on an empty stomach because of the acidity always take it after or during the breakfast.

It makes me feel the same way. Orange juice is very acidic and your stomach is resting while you sleep. I either add water, aloe, or apple juice to make it calmer on my stomach.

It's probably the acid in it that your stomach doesn't like. Try eating most of your meal before you start drinking it.
