If this is one of the first real relationships he has had then this is a common phoebia. He may think that he will give you the wrong idea if he initiates contact.
The best way to handle this, is when you two are alone, lay one on him (kiss). That will let him know you don't mind contact.

Well I guess if your boyfriend will not kiss you or hold your hand then he isn't your boyfriend... you are not the right girl for him... other wise he would be begging you to kiss him or hold his hand... he would be all over you... Big red flag here girl.. He is not interested in you.. Find someone else...

When i started to go out with my gf, we just talked the first date. I wanted to hold her hand the 2d date, but i wasnt sure of the right time to do it. We were drinking cold sodas and i asked her if she was cold, and grab her hand a little. She said, U can hold my hand if u want to.
Thats what u have to do
But please, if u get together, forget about that, and dont say things like I DID THE FIRST MOVE! That pisses us off.

well he is shy..how old is he, how long have you been going out? thats important to understand your question also!
but you take initiative and hold his hand, give him a kiss..
let him know you like that, and hopefully he will learn and he will be less shy and be able to hold your hand, give you kisses.

Just start grabbing his hand for now until he's used to holding your hand. Then when you want him to grab your hand, just walk close with your hand parallel to his, until he grabs your hand. Kissing should come natural, but if it doesn't just lean in half the way and wait til he leans in the rest--technically he finished it off so he kissed you!

He's your boyfirend and he hasn't held your hand? If he doesn't do it, break the ice and hold his hand...and eventually kiss him. Be careful, you may unleash 'the beast' inside of him ;)

Just make him do it....you are going to have to lead the way. That is how my boyfriend was, that's what made me fall for him. But now, he learned the skills and he does it himself.
