Dave Mirra and Matt Hoffman are overrated if you ask me. When people hear bmx they always think of those two. Well, it actually takes a good personality, good sponsors, good signature parts, good sessions in bmx videos and ofcourse, the ability to ride good. If you want to see a street rider like that, look at Van Homan, Josh Stricker or Edwin Delarosa. Hope this helps

Like most sports the three S's strength speed suppleness you then work out yourself the order you need but the other thing for a bmx guy is above average co-ordination , always remember the top guys get the best tyres and made to measure bike etc as in most sports it's not just being good that matters

Get Out of detention center unfastened card, taped to the interior his christmas card. :o) If his bike does not already have those products, he could like some hop-up kits for his crank and/or grind guards for his hubs, if he's into grinds and such. Gloves and grips are continually a powerful factor, too. attempt to make certain what he's desiring for his bike and see in case you could ask your self him with some thing. :o)

Being Matt Hoffman. Or maybe being Dave Mira.

But really, it's gotta be talent combined with versatility combined with creativity.
