to many teens get picked on and kill their selfs do you think somthing should be done?

I don't think teens commit suicide because they are deprssed. I think they do so because they give other things priority and do not have the convidence to face life as it is. Too much time is spent with friends, on the phone, going out, etc. Not enough effort is given to developing skills and talent to build their confidence. If (for example, just an example ok?), you spent more time polishing your english, you wouldn't feel suicidal simply because people make fun of your spelling (i didn't say you are suicidal). Depression is for those who do not believe in themselves. And i'm not talking of having a swollen ego.

comets are teens? i thought they were the oldest things in the universe. Well there is help if you feel depressed enough to consider suicide, pick up the phone and call someone

brunette-sail, ignore those people who are making fun of your grammar and spelling. I hope I'm wrong but you sound like you are contemplating suicide yourself to me. Talk to your counselor are parents if you can. If not call the suicide prevention hot line. Good luck.

Yes, if you know someone that is thinking about it then you should talk to them to get help from a counselor. Or if you know their parents or a member of their family, then tell them that she /he needs help immediately. Try your best to become friendly with the person who is being picked on.

Thay not only do it from depression...but from doing drugs...drinking...and pressure. The pressure to be cool to everyone. A nd when they think that their life isn't going the way they want it to go...they take their lives.
Its very sad, really...

yes but how...teens tend to hide their emotions....and some parents tend not to notice!!!!
