i'm 15 and so is he. so whenever i'm in history class, he keeps on asking me how the tests went for me.. but then when we get them back he brags that he got A's. And then on the street, he randomly called out my name, when I never gave it to him and his friends don't know me. What does he want from me? if he likes me, then why does he keep on bragging?? it's so annoying.. maybe i'm just jumping to conclusions.. maybe he doesn't like me? what does it seem like? one more thing.. he's in the history class after mine.. so he couldn't have known my name from class AND my friend says he's not shy at all.. so if he liked me.. wouldn't he have already asked me out?

In nature the male peacock fans out his feathers to show the female how attractive and becoming he is hoping the female will be impressed and come on over and inquire as to his lovliness and maybe he will get lucky.

ok...i see where you taking this. a lot of guys do bragg just because they want to get your attention or get you to notice them more often. Even though you never told him your name or his friends dont know you. he still has sources that he can get your name. like other people that you know or in a year book. Even though your friends said that hes not shy, maybe that he likes you a lot and dont have really the courage to ask you out yet. he wants to see if you like him first before he asks you out. because if he asks you out and you dont like him he will get embarressed or something like that.

Ask him point blank. Sounds like he's kinda stalking you. Don't mind the bragging, guys like to show off in front of girls and their friends. If you think he knows it bugs you, he might just be doing it like, classic old school example -dip the girl you like's pigtails in ink-. If I were you I'd just up and ask him "Is there a reason you call out my name and compare my scores with yours?" If you like feel free to bs something like "I heard a rumor you like me"
Personally it sounds like he's crushing on you, at the very least he's interested in you.

He took the time to find out your name...he is trying to strike up a conversation, as lame as his attempts have seemed, he likes you and is trying to see if your interested in him...the next move is yours.

He may like you and just not want to admit to it. Or he could just be immature and want to bug you. But my guess is that he likes you and he really doesn't know what to do. He may be loud and not shy, but my guess is that when it comes to girls he is shy.
