Sounds like you are an animal lover to me. I guess you should ask yourself if you have enough room in your house for all those animals. If you have a fairly large living area and yard for the dogs to run about than I do not see any problems with this at all. What do your by-laws say your limits are? If you can medically care for all animals (hope they are all fexed) and feeding them well I don't see why not. I am sure you also give each and every one of them the attention they need or desire so neglect would not be an issue either.

Well you know that you shouldnt count on us to tell you if not because we are not the ones with nine pets. All you have to do is look around. Have they been fighting and it hurts the oher animals , you , or your family? Are they too hard to take care of? Are they expensive? Then take a deep breath in from your nose. Does it smell bad? Once you decide all these things I bet you will know wether it is too much.

If they are all well cared for, given plenty of attention and spayed or neutered - nine is fine. There is no right-or-wrong number of pets. If you're feeling overwhelmed by the expense or effort needed to take care of them, maybe you can find a good home for a few.

this is an extremely sturdy question and robust concepts! i individually dislike puppy shops inspite of the incontrovertible fact that for contributing to the subject. they actually positioned rigidity on households with little little ones by ability of exhibiting kittens and bunnies. They understand finished nicely that a brilliant sort of the kittens and bunnies will go through after the novelty wears off and a few would be discarded like trash on the factor of the line or further to shelters that are already overfilled and understaffed. it is greed on their area no remember the way you say it. training is the important and that technique has been ongoing for a protracted time. It has helped immensely and the subject is recuperating. Ignorant and thoughtless human beings will continually exist no remember how hard we attempt to get rid of animal abuse and forget.

I hope you are not single and over 35. More than 2 cats makes anyone the crazy, single cat lady.
Your neighbors could also contact animal control because you have so many pets.

as long as you have the TIME, SPACE, and MONEY to PROPERLY take care of them then no it isn't too many.
You have to have the time to be able to take your dogs on at least 1 to 2 walks per day and have time to play with your cats and your dogs.
You have to have enough space to properly house your animals
and
You need to have the money to properly feed all the animals and be able to take them to the vets when they are sick etc.
if you can say yes to ALL 3 of those then no, you don't have too many animals but if you say no to ANY one of them then yes you do have too many animals.

No, not too many. If you can afford them, have the time for them and they're all happy and healthy, then no number is too many. I once had over 20 pets - most were 'dumped' on me by people not wanting to care for them anymore....thankfully my husband made enough to support us all!

YES: unless you have an extremely large back yard, and TONS of cat toys && LOTS of money to spend on food and Vet bills, then YES you have way too many animals.

That is a difficult question to answer.. It would depend on whether or not you really loved your pets and more importantly... whether you have the space for them to play in and whether or not you have the means to adequately feed and care for them.
Remember.. as your pets grow older, they will require vet care as it concerns possible diabetes and other ailments.
For me... but that is personal... that would be too many pets for me.
