I am not a liberal. I am a Conservative, i do not think more debt for the USA is good for the USA. Republicans are not Godly people, that is fact.
If your a Republican than why are you not in Iraq defending your neocon leader is his war? You support the war but you send others to fight and die, that is not the act of a Godly person.

All liberals should not move to Canada!
Liberals love America just as much as republicans say they do. We want to stay in the US because this is the greatest country in the world with the most opportunity for change and improvement. And we would like to show our patriotism if smart, confident, non-flip flopping (Not all democrats are flip floppers) people were elected into congress.
Liberals do not always lie about their likes or dislikes. There are millions of people in the democratic party and it is unfair to make such a sweeping generalization that all of them always lie. I would be willing to bet that more Republicans have lied to you then liberals.
For Example.
In bushes first term he gave the top 1 percent of the population more then a half- trillion dollars in tax cuts, while the bottom 60% of the population only received half of that!
Is that fair? If that's not a straight up lie I don't know what is!
Of coarse some liberals must lie but never on the scale or frequency that some Republicans do.

I love my country (which is the United States, by the way). I respect, actually revere, the principles in the Constitution and the principles enshrined in our system of justice. I believe in responsibility and appropriate consequences for one's behavior (and they should apply to both the poor and struggling AND the rich and corporations). I also happen to believe in compassion, in being grateful for all that one has, and extending help to others who are not as fortunate. A big part of why I believe that is my religious beliefs, by the way, which happen to involve the teachings of Jesus. That is why I am a progressive, what you still call a liberal.
I may hate some things my government does, but I do not and never have hated my country. I agree that some "liberals" seem to, because they speak only of the bad and not the good. However, speaking for myself, I think part of patriotism is speaking up when your country does something wrong, wanting to hold your country to its own high principles, thinking that being the greatest country in the world entails responsibility as well as power, holding ourselves to a high standard based on the principles we were really founded on. Criticizing George Bush and his cronies, or a particular policy, is not the same thing as criticizing the United States itself.
The words liberal and conservative have basically lost their meaning, by the way. "Liberal" has become an epithet and doesn't mean much anymore. "Conservatives" today are anything but, based on what the word used to mean in political science. I can respect an intelligent actual "conservative," even if I disagree with him or her but they seem to be few and far between. Mostly I hear lots of self-righteous, self-gratulatory snide contempt for anyone who disagrees with them as they give more money to the billionaires and chip away at the Bill of Rights.
If you're just criticizing the Democratic Party, I'm pretty disgusted with them myself. Although I can't stomach voting Republican. More real options would be nice.
Based on your question, I figure you just want support for your own beliefs anyway, rather than actual ideas, so fire away. Yawn

I despise labels, and baited questions which are really statements like this one. Why is everyone who disagrees with conservatives a liberal? I think people who stand up for what they believe are patriots, not liberals. You must all share one brain, your vocabulary is so limited, always using the same rhetoric.
I can love my country and hate the way it is run, but instead of being some whiny mealy mouth puss, I vote, get involved and work to change what is wrong. Why do republicans always lie?
Because they have to. Using fear to herd the people like cattle, ignoring the constitution so they can circumvent the laws, in bed with big business, hmmmm - now that is a group of people I wouldn't want to include myself in.
Maybe when Castro is dead we can ship all the republicans down there. They are nothing more than a bunch of liars, cheats, and thieves. I wont lie about what I don't like, I don't like republicans.

The Liberal ideology is a theory which holds forth beliefs that have no basis in reality.
They are Advocates of a policy that empowers a strong government to enslave its people with a high tax burden incident to the support of extravagant and unnecessary social programs destructive to both the work ethic among the lower class, and the incentive to innovate and succeed among the working class.
The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.
A democracy will continue to exist up until
the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous
gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority
always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from
the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally
collapse over loose fiscal policy

Just the live ones need to move. They are the only ones causing any concern. Do liberals even know they are lying? They rarely take a stance one way or the other to let people know what they truely believe. They change their mind with the way the wind blows. The like the USA as long as everything is hunky-dorey and everyone is real huggy-friendly, but if there's trouble they always point their fingers and shun responsibilty

The only people I ever hear talking about hate are conservatives.
I guess you don't any liberal ideas like freeing slaves. Oh that was such a terrible liberal idea wasn't it? If conservatives ruled the world we'd still be honoring kings as our rulers and burning people for witchcraft. Being patriotic doesn't mean having to agree with every nonproductive stick your head in the sand idea that you conservatives love so much.

Should all extreme religious conservatives move to Afghanistan to be with the rest of the religious fundamentalists? I am sick and tired of the argument from people like you that we hate America just because we disagree with the way it is being run. If our founding fathers thought like you, we'd still be part of the British Empire.
People like you hate the ideals our country was founded on - freedom of speech, the right to dissent, the right to petition the government for redress of grievances, etc. Maybe it's you that should leave if you don't like the Constitution. As for me, I'm staying here and putting in the hard work needed to see America live up to her ideals.

Wow... look at all the hatred spewing from the "compassionate comservative" camp. What good "love thy neighbor" Christians you are...

Holy crap no we just got rid of the liberals here in Canada I was hoping they would all go to the US we sure as hell don't need them up here, most liberals up here are nothing more than bleeding hearts with no jam, the only thing they are good for is lying cheating stealing from the public and then run when the going gets tough, they say they don't like terrorism in one hand and support it in another God help us all if we have them to fight for our freedom.
