Rocky Mountain National Park. It's beautiful, and low cost. Stay in a cabin in Estes Park and eat in.

Try the Marriott Courtyard in your city; book a room with a Jacuzzi and bring wine, Gouda, good bread, and your CD player.
Add some massage oil and creativity. A change of scenery is always a good thing. Go out to dinner and dance in the park.
Sing together on the sidewalk and swim in the hotel pool. Just have fun.

If you live close enough to the Great Lakes I would strongly suggest Put-in-Bay or Kelley's Island. You can have a blast there without spending a lot of money.
If not, get a cabin or something in a nature-trail park

Is a vacation with someone "new" such a good idea? Get to know them a little bit better first. If you go away together he may just think that you are ready to have sex.

Depends on where you live....I would suggest Mackinack Island, but that's because i live in MI. Maybe a nearby beach or something? How about a nearby water park, or an amusement park? It really depends on where you live.
