God is a powerful concept, probably the most powerful these days next to money. And religion is the drama built around this concept. Humans don't have answers to everything, we only have questions. So at this point God and religion can be used both positively as well as negatively.
Positively? First question the religion, figure out what's right and what wrong, try to adopt the right and discard wrong. Use the religion to help you find the answers to your questions. A same question may have different correct answers and only one or few of them suit an individual, so its upto each individual to find the best answer for him.
However, the problem occurs at the first step. Many people don't question it scientifically. So this is what happens ... read below:
Negatively? We have lots of questions, but very few answers. So instead of doing our homework, many want to hear the answers from others (example: Yahoo answers **wink). And there are some smart people out there who can make stories about God and religion (because you already gave up, and will most probably believe a story without much questioning) and make them look like real answers. If those stories are good, may be its OK, but most such stories are manipulative and in my opinion are not worth it.
Finally, I believe that God is a concept and not real. But if this is going to make you feel better, then God bless you. :-)

God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit is real. You can walk outside your door step and look at how amazing and glorious God created earth and know that God is. God being the creature of all things and his son Jesus Christ of Nazareth the Savior of the world. Is ever present at all times, now what goes on in this world, which is consequently the residuals (results) of our own doing, is why people need to be careful in saying "if there was a God, why did he let this happen or do this and that" That is man not being responsible for there on actions and penalty's!
When you got out of bed this morning on your own, with somewhere to live and air to breathe, that is something to shout about right there. I am amazed at people who use the very air that God affords them to discredit Him or more the less not believe in Him, as though He needs their affirmation to exist! We have a human proclivity or disposition to write off what we do not understand. We like to call things fictitious or crazy instead of accepting the fact that there are some things you will not have a complete understanding of. I will tell you this as I close, don't let friend, Mother, Father, Husband, or pet turtle Lester, separate you from God.....It you don’t have a full understanding, a belief in God and His Son Jesus, stop talking to people about God that don't believe. Before you know it you will be following their opinions instead of God's facts. Find you a Church that is teaching the truth about the word of God and most importantly except Him-Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and ask The Lord for an understanding of His word and divine plan...Please don't submit to the none believers...they cannot do nothing for you when its said and done.

Yes, I believe in God.
While some claim that science is a better alternative to God, it is not. There is little evidence supporting evolution, and almost all evidence pointing towards the Big Bang has been proven faulty.
Look around you. Watch a sunset. Think of the miracle of childbirth. Read the Bible. How can there not be a God?
The more in-tuned you become with life, the more often you recognize God. He is everywhere. You just have to look for Him.
I hope this helps.
God bless!

I believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I do not believe in evolution because to many conflicting theories are out there amongst the scientific community. There was a time that King David was a myth according to the scientific and Atheist community til they found David's citadel. Oh well just another error on their part, this covers everything when they are wrong. They have tried to prove for years that man evolved from apes but their genetic testing proved them wrong again. Now the theory is the ape that humans evolved from are extinct. Wow talk about theories. The Bible has stood the test of time for many thousands of years, the opinions in it has not altered. Yet people still slam those that believe.

maybe look at it this way ... if all things are possible in "God" then the lack of "God" is also possible. different people see the same thing from different perspectives. different cultures arise in different environments so have different God concepts reflecting the character attributes of the environment. all God concepts are true to the respective believer. atheists tend toward the science of observable phenomenon which leaves little room for invisible super beings so the lack of God (or a god) is true to the atheist.

Hey hi. I dont believe in god. I believe in myself and believe by identifying problems. God doesnt exist i guess. I believe that god is someone who had contributed greatly to the people last time. Respect the god. I dont believe in Hell. Think deeper. Actually you dont have to be afraid. Just have to trust yourself. Just Live without God and try it out. Just concentrate on.

Some are going to say I dont believe in God because I believe in science..How stupid can you get?????????????????????//
Science is to a point of believing in things you cannot see or understand. Science tells you there is a wind which you cannot see in its self..YOu can see and feel the effects of it but not the actual wind..so do you believe or disbelieve just because because you cannot see it
GOD gave you the capacity to study science and try to unravel its mysteries and marvel at it complexities.I have worked at a place in New Mexico where there are people with IQ's so high they scare me ..and I see them in my catholic church every sunday????
If GOD didn't exist man would have to invent HIm just so they could have someone to believe in or to blame for all his stupidity

I believe religion is for weak minded individuals. I believe people use religion as a status symbol and an excuse for bad behavior. I believe people use religion for hurtful purposes and social control. For instance, read some of the answers from so called religious people and the derogatory words they use, " in the name of God" of course.
If you ever wanted to be scared away from religion, read some more of the question/answers in this section.
It's shocking....practice tolerance and you will be at peace....

Which god? There are a lot of variants out there, from polytheism to a man with a beard in heaven, to just a super-presence all around us. If discussing religion causes arguments, simply don't discuss it. It's so personal it's highly unlikely that two people on this planet actually agree on all parts of their spirituality.

I don't believe because every word in the bible does make any sense believing in science makes more sense . Plus the bible just doesn't go with my feelings about how to live your life . I think why should you need a bible to tell you how to live your life and how to act to people ..shouldn't you had been raised to treat people with kindness and whats right and wrong ..it just stupid to have a higher being to tell you what to do or whatever!
