The real name for bio polar is Manic depression and they suffer for it for the rest of there lives. Most of the bio polar (manic depression sufferers ) they take axit, lithium, ciprimil or other medication which helps them to control them to stay calm or they go off the rails. When they go off the rails they are the most horrible people in the world if they don't stay on there medication every day .You cannot start and stop taking the medication they put you either as you need it help control the nueron in their brain.You must get put on the right medication asif you don't it can make it worse.

Bipolar is what doctors used to call "Manic-Depressive." It is usually a series of mood swings from Super Happy and nothing is wrong in my world... To super depressed and all you wanna do is crawl in a hole and die.
I dont tink drinkin triggers it but Im sure it cant help.
But Im not a shrink, jes a family member of a bipolar.

My brother is bipolar, and alcohol abuse triggered his.
One of the symptoms is from going to manic, feeling like you could take the world, on top of the world feeling, to depressed, hopeless low.

well,first,...another name for the bipolar disease is manic-depression...from this name you can tell that a person suffering from this mental illness finds himself in a stage of manic moods....seeing no boundaries...no obligations...being exessively happy,and at some times dangerous.this stage is followed by a period of severe depression....my grandmother became ill after she gave birth to a dead child,...everytime it came close to that childs' birthday she started to become depressed,and the rest of the year she was manic....the drug that is mostly used is lithium
