Is this a correct statment? If the average persons metabolism went up, they would want to eat more often, but the size of the portion they ate, to get full, would be the same as it was before?

The first and second statements clash hon! Metabolism would increase your hunger--yes. Whether or not you "choose" to eat a larger or smaller portion is up the the person! ;)

If you have a high metabolism you will burn off calories faster than the average person. That means you can eat more calories than average and still not gain any weight. It won't MAKE you eat more often and yes you will still feel full with a regular portion of food. It simply means your body burns the fuel faster than average.
