Have you heard this? Supposedly, there is no law that says we have to pay income taxes?

I'm not a big Alex Jones fan because I am a liberal but he is actually correct on this if you are referring to FEDERAL domestic income tax.

And yet I'll bet Alex Jones pays income tax. Don't believe this line. It is not correct. The theory of the income tax is voluntary payment, but there are penalties and punishments for failure to comply.

that has been around for years.there have been lawsuits testing whether we do or not and the courts have all affirmed that we do.
idon't know if it's a law specificlly but it was somehow related to the rights of the government as stated in the constitution regarding levying taxes.

It was supposed to be a temporary tax during WW2, but then it was never taken back and we've been stuck with it ever since.

We have a voluntary tax system yes, but try to argue that in a tax evasion case.

There is. It was passed in 1913 after the 16th Amendment was ratified.
