i'm going into college and i'm worried about people jacking my movies...what software do i need to copy/burn dvds? roxio won't let me do it because of copy protection or something.

Ok this is a two step process.
1) Get DVD Decrypter. This program rips the entire DVD to your computer. It's best to rip to an .ISO image file.
2) If this is a single layer disc, ie 4.7 GB, then just burn the image file. If this a dual layer disc, ~8GB, then you need a program called DVD Shrink. This will open the .ISO image file and compress it down to 4.7GB to fit onto a single layer DVD+-R.
It's pretty easy for the entire process. Have fun.

You can get a program like dvd shrink to open the dvd and save them to your computer and burn them with roxio (nero) or any other dvd burining software

Yes, you will need to obtain DVD shrink, and Nero works very well with this software. In fact, it is recommended. I use it, it works well. Do a search for it online. It's free(dvd shrink), Nero you must purchase.

U need a good DVD decrypter. I would recommend
www.DVD43.com its free and it decrpts any movie.
Use NERO 7 and copy those movies.

You can use Gordian Knot rip pack, you can download it from www.doom9.net. It has a lot of useful tools to do what you want. Not just that but you can backup your DVDs as AVI DivX Files.

or u can download the new nero smart program from limewire and it got a keygen in it so u can regiester it fro free . if u dont have limewire u can get the basic version from www.downloads.com its better than all the ather programs
