The best diet out there for not feeling hungry is the Zone Diet. What's the Zone Diet? The Zone diet is a diet popularized in books by Barry Sears. It advocates "hormonal thinking" instead of caloric thinking as an approach to eating. It is not a weight-loss "diet" (though it can be used quite successfully for that purpose); rather it is a way of eating — the intake of food that produces the best results within our bodies based on a hypothesis of how the human body has evolved to cope with the food intake throughout history.

"The Zone" is Sears's term for proper hormone balance. When insulin levels are neither too high nor too low, the human body is not busy storing excess calories as fat which means that those stores are available when needed. The human body cannot store fat and burn fat at the same time, and it takes time (significant time if insulin levels were high because of unbalanced eating) to switch from the former to the latter. Using stored fat for energy causes weight loss. The diet centers on a "40:30:30" ratio of calories obtained daily from carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, respectively. The exact formula is always under debate, but studies over the past several years (including a non-scientific study by Scientific American Frontiers) have shown that it can produce weight loss at reasonable rates.

i have tried all the gimmics and nothing workded, i lost weight but as soon as you go off ans stop taking the pills you gain it right back. so i tried it the Healthy way, somewhat...i started running only what i could, 1 mile then progressed up to 3 1/2 miles at first it sucked then you just do it relax and feel so much better, i did this 5 days a week and then ate no carbs for 2 wks and lost 10 pounds, i am still really not eating carbs going off the south beach diet and i was not as hungry, i started about 2 1/2 months ago and i have lost almost 29 pounds, not running as much right now but will every now and then. try this you will keep the weight off and it sucks in the beginning and you will want to give up but sont do it!!!!!

Diets don't work since 99% ggain it back. Eat all you want and become thin. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

the best long term diet is a balanced diet and exercise. To truly loss weight and keep it off you need to increase your metabolism. You do this with exercise, and then have a diet that provides the body with all the essentials and not a lot of the extra stuff.

Eat several (5-6) small meals a day...your body will burn calories faster and build your metabolism in a short period of time.
(eat about every 2 hours)
The first 8-10 pounds you shed is water.
Meal suggestions:
1st: piece of fruit
2nd: string cheese, summer sausage/tuna, cottage
cheese/yogurt
3rd: bowl of cereal
4th: soup/sandwich
5th: a good dinner-meat, potatoes/pasta/rice, veggie...your body needs carbs, protein and vitamins to stay healthy
6th: salad/raw veggies
Drink plenty of water
Drink milk or juice/water with every meal (no soda pop)
Stay away from munchies, fried & fatty foods.
Cardio exercise is great, but most people don't continue for an extended period, do "daily" simple exercise like walking/hiking...swimming and biking are low impact, playing games like basketball, baseball, volleyball will tone your body and you'll have fun doing it.

A healthy diet works. Eat several small healthy meals a day. Stay away from processed white flour products, soda and junk and keep active.

Variety and moderation...eat what you want, but remember that rule! Oh, and only weigh yourself once a week or so...you can adjust your food intake by how your pants fit, or what it says on the scale, your choice. You shouldn't freak out about a diet ever...its not good for you.

I like Weight Watchers. . .its healthy, not difficult and easy to follow. You don't feel like you are on a diet because you get to eat anything you want but you have to pay attention to portion sizes. Its pretty simple actually.

STACK - It's NOT a Diet! It's a weight-loss system. You'll lose about a pound a day, using it, as everyone I know did.
