What's the best place in DC to get a tattoo? Hopefully on the subway/bus line. And have decent prices.

Don't do it. Tattoos are trashy, especially on a female.

There's a few places that do tattooing in College Park, MD, not too far from DC and easily accessible by Metro or bus. Here is a link to one of them, though I think they are in Laurel, another 10 miles beyond College Park, but still accessible easily by bus.

Since you're going to have this tattoo forever, it's best to check out different artists. Someone else's taste might not be yours. Here's a link that discusses the best tattoo artists in the D.C. area. Don't rush into this...do your homework so you'll be happy, not sorry.

ok...so the best place (that i know of) is called jinx proof on m street nw (betweed potomac and 33rd streets). its clean and they have really good guys working there. its right there in georgetown so you can get something to eat or go shopping right there on m st/ wisconsin av. to get there you can take several buses that drop you off on m st (30,32,34,35,36 from either downtown or friendship heights, or 38b from downtown or rosslyn).

yah....ignore him....I love tatooed nippies...its so nice especially if done with an artform over it....
