And the lack of neurological functions in your brain could explain why you don't believe

Still another theory in the scientific community comes to light. The unexplainable must be explained with equations that always come up lacking in substance. When one is reasoning a theory they should have some knowledge on their subject. Without the knowledge of God in this subject it is always biased and one sided. I have read the evolutionary theories and basically find they are all in disagreement with each other. With archaeologist digs constantly finding older fossils of mankind, using the carbon testing of science they are coming to different conclusions. Even DNA testing is revealing that the once thought of ape was mankinds ancestory has came up wanting in proof. Now it is saying oh it was an ape that is now extinct. This would be interesting if one theory was proven and could stand alone without another theory disproving the first. This has been all that has been done in the past and is still being done today. So as far as the neurological functions of the brain theory, why doesn't all mankind have this same function? Why is it only those that believe in Jesus Christ?

I think it's ironic that the only people who claim that humans are too advanced to have evolved naturally are the ones who demonstrate the least advanced mode of thinking. You are right, Buddhist Monks do this all the time, and they can do near supernatural feats, but they no it comes from with in. The human brain can be a powerful thing, it has nothing to do with God, it's all about what you believe in, and what you believe in doesn't even have to be true.

The neurological functions that God gave me. Those functions include the ability to make choices. I follow God. You don't. We both made a choice.
I also have Jesus in my heart that can lead me.

And might your own reasoning be a neurological functioning in your brain? Does that ipso facto mean it's false? In that case, wouldn't you have to stop being an atheist?

Relativism cuts both ways, my friend.

There have been lab studies where manipulation of the brain has evoked religious experiences.

It is the most likely conclusion that any religious feeling, vision or personal experience is created solely in the mind of the believer.

Neurological functions, as in thoughts and all perceptions you've ever had. Please don't try to disguise shallow arguments with fancy words. This is just telling theists that God could just be in their head.

If you really want to debate that one, go ahead. Just don't start out by condescending to them.

You can't explain God away like that he exists wether or not you like it and you can believe or disbelieve in him but your disbelief will not change fact you can't see the air you breathe yet it is there! But so far I haven't seen anyone trying to disprove the existance of air even though they can't se Air.
