Put the egg in a pan of cold water with a lot of salt on the bottom ( to prevent cracking). bring to a boil and boil at medium speed for 7 minutes (for hard boiled). Remove the pan from the burner and gently run cold water in the pan until it is cool enough to remove the egg without burning your hand on the pan. Then gently hit the egg on several sides on the side of your sink. Then roll the egg in your hands for a few seconds to loosen the shell from the interior egg. The shell will peel off really easily then.

After boiling the eggs, take the pan and run cold water into in until the eggs cool off. Just a trickle of water for about 4 minutes should do it. Then crack and peel. Run water over each one as you peel it.

Let them sit in cold water for a while, drain, peel them when they are still slightly warm, tap one side of the egg from tip to top gently enough to crack the shell, then start peeling. If they afre completly cooled then it will be a lot harder. When there cool, little peices peel off but when they are warm big pieces come of easy.

After boiling, pour off the hot water and add very cold water and let sit for a few. This makes the shell easier to peel.

put them in very cold water and make sure it is completely cooled before trying to peel...if it is still warm, it won't peel as easily. Put in the refrigerator for awhile. It's easier if you make the eggs a little ahead of time and then they will be nice and cool to peel later.

I think the trick is to tap the egg all around the sides to crack the shell. Then peel off the cracked bits with your fingers.

lightly tap it on a hard surface (countertop, etc.) all over to crack the shell, then roll it a little to help loosen the membrane under the shell.
