Jesus did marry. Jewish men married back then and that is that. Read the Da Vinci code, there is some truth in it.

His father was not married---his Father was God. His step-father was married to his mother. The Bible teaches us that Jesus was raised in every aspect of the Jewish culture. Whether he was married or not would be of no consequences to the fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross to take onto himself the sins of the world so that we could be forgiven. Being married would have had no significance in the fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, appeared before he ascended into heaven, and is our Savior. He is the Son of God and the Son of Man.

Jesus, a great teacher of compassion and love, was cut out differently as compared to a common man. All great men with a mission are! Shankaracharya(800AD) the famous propounder of Advaita Philosophy who literally threw out Buddhism from Indian subcontinent never married and gave up his physical existence in all but 31 years after he completed his mission. Such leaders, thrown up by populace of their time, are fired primarily by their own vision and they would devote all their life to their ideals and goals rather than follow the beaten paths of normal mortals!

His father did not marry, he was concieved by a miracle
Just as there was 1 marriage inthe garden of Eden, where the wife of Adam was born out of Adams woudned side,
there is 1 marriage in heaven where the church is born out of the wounded side of the Messiah, the bride of Christ

God is Jesus's father. Joseph was his earthly father. He married Mary after she was pregnant in order to save her from shame.

I'm not sure. I'm not convinced that he wasn't married, as most Jewish men above 20, especially spiritual leaders, would be married.
But then, I'm also an atheist, so read into that what you will.

The Jesus story is so riddled with inconsistencies, contradictions, and myths that no sensible conclusions can be inferred from it.
