She climbs up walls, runs through the house as fast as she can, and attacks anything- even if it's not moving. She is spade, I thought that would calm her down but no. I don't want another pet. And she has a lot of toys...I know she is going to be very active cause she is a kitten but I atleast want her to stop climbing the walls...Any ideas?

Well, you are right on the fact that a kitten is supposed to be hyperactive. I have a 9 month old and a 5 month old. Here is what I do: Have a water pistol or a spray bottle near you (a cheap little squirt gun works best for aiming and you can get a good distance) and spray her whenever she does something she isn't supposed to - like climb the walls, it will stop the specific behavior after a few times of getting wet. Also, don't be afraid to get angry with her, cats can sense anger in your voice and will usually stop what the are doing, go hide, and than come back and cuddle to see if you are still mad. If my cats are doing something wrong all I have to do now is loudly clear my throat and they stop. Never hurt them or hit them, just speak firmly. To calm her down in general grab a big (dryer-warm if you have it) towel, wrap her up in it, and hold her like a baby - or just hold her against your heart. My little terror calms right down.

Kittens just have a LOT of energy! You are going to have to spend more time actively playing with her so that she winds down at the end of the day! What I suggest is that you go to the shop and get one of those lazer light pointers that people use for presentations. You can relax on the couch, and have her chase the red dot for absolute ages until she's exhausted! I do it to my kitty until he pants - I didn't even know that they could do that!

Other than that, you are just going to have to wait out her 'teens' till she becomes more relaxed! But by the sounds of it, she'll probably always be quite active! This is a good thing because an active kitty lives longer and healthier, just like we do!

you need to play with her a lot. give her plenty of toys. get one of those feather sticks at the pet store and play with her with that. it will tire her out and make her feel loved. over time, she'll grow up and become less active, but lots of play is the key to hyperactivity.
