You asked an arrogant fault ridden question and got what you deserved.

I'm not religious by any means. I have faith, and I believe in God, but I don't follow a religion. I have my own reasons for that, but I do believe that some of us could be wrong. There are so many different religions on the world, who is to say who's right and who's wrong? We'll never know, and it's really sad for everyone to point the finger and say "I'm right and you're wrong, and there's nothing you can do about it because you're going to hell." Drives me insane.
On the other hand, now that I've read your other question, I can see why you got beat up. You got exactly what you deserved. You asked a judgmental question and you got beat down like you should have. If you wanted to ask an intelligent question, you should have tried not to sound like an @$$ when you did it.

I am a former Christian who converted to Paganism (no I do not worship the Christian Satan; I do not even believe that being exists), and I apologize for any offense that others may have caused you. What I would do to answer your previous question is bow my head in respect because I am still a mortal and He (meaning Jesus' father not Jesus) is God and far more powerful than I can ever hope to be. I mean that with all due respect to both you and your faith.
Blessed Be (this is the same as God Bless) to you.

if you don't want nasty comments thrown at you don't ask a non-christian "what if you are wrong?" i'm not a christian so my question to you is "what if you are wrong"? and don't say you're not just because you're christian. that doesn't make you right. just opininated. everyone has the right to believe in what ever they want. that doesn't make them wrong. you only believe they are wrong because that is what you are taught. one more thing. for a country that preaches freedom of religion most americans believe you shouldn't have that right and treat those who chose not to be christian like they are no better than rodents

Oh hey, okay, I got it, last line, lighten up. So how does this grab you, anyone who is not a Christians will be back here exploring life again, as a human being, becoming more enlightened with each passing life time. As for the Christians ... hey ... be well. Enjoy your salvation. Feel free to be what you want to be.

I think you got beat up because you asked a question that condemns people who disagree with you to hell. I understand that as a Christian your question was intended to make people re-evaluate their lives and eventually come to Christianity and eternal life. But while much of Christian society likes to endorse those types of mind-trick logic questions, I don't think they really work. If a person is going to come to Christ because they are afraid of hell, or of being wrong, they will probably ask those questions in their own minds. If you want to reach someone, you should seek them out when they are already asking such questions, and offer them loving, friendly guidance.

This is a very easy answer. Just follow what you believe and try not and force your ideas on others. This is my biggest gripe about Christianity. There is more than one path and the sooner people realize that and quit knocking others the sooner this world will be a better place. I respect what you believe all I ask is for you to do the same with me...........

will all u sickos stop uttering the terms muslims, christians, hindus, sikhs and buddhists, etc.
stop. wat do u guyz think u r doing. just coz u hav an oppurtunity to write ur comments dusnt mean that u write anything.
stop labelling urselves with religions, races, and colours. if u really want alabel then use the word "human".
and forgod's sake all people who do wrong will b in hell and all dos doing good things in heaven. being a muslim or christian or anything will not lead u to gates of heaven.
good deeds and good intentions will.
now try being a goos human rather than a good reliogious sucker.

The point of faith is that you don't have to worry if you are wrong; to you it is the truth. Of course it is going to be questioned, but if you believe enough in your faith then you should be able to justify it or at least blindly believe. As for the non-Christians, they are just scared because they don't have a belief like you and I and they ask the same question of themselves everyday.

If you want people to lighten up, you shouldn't ask a question that's going to stir people up. Almost all the questions under the "Religion & Spirituality" category are asked by people intent on judging and "sticking it" to others. It is everyone's right to believe what they want to believe. The decision is theirs.

If I'm wrong I will burn forever in hell. Oh, while I'm doing this my family and friends that had the right religion will be enjoying Heaven forever. While I burn. Will god make them forget about me and their other friends and family that the wrong/no religion?
Why did you pick your religion? Just because it is what your parents did? Did you even look into all the other religions? Are you sure you are right? What if you have the wrong religion? Will your hell be worse?
