I'm a 19 year old female, who has had a total of one guy be interested. We went out for around two months and then he dumped me to get back with his ex.
I'm intellegent, witty, I have a sense of humor, I'm easy to talk too, and almost always have a smile on my face, but I am really shy and normally won't make the first move.
Can someone please give me some advise on how to get a guy?
It would be greatly appreciated.

See the one thing that I did not hear as you describe yourself and that is that you are beautiful, see if you do not have confidants in yourself, or you do not think that you are a very pretty girl how can someone else have love for you if you don't have it?
You have to stop being so shy, because if you are sitting over in the corner all the time how can anyone notice you?
Try flirting with guys, not to be picked up by them, just so that you can get comfortable around them, that's all,

Sex doesn't constitute the grounds for getting a guy, nor does making the 1st move help to keep them. Give it time. You say there's a total of one guy, but thats impossible! Guys are shy too, so you never know how many guys actually like you. Give it time. You sound like a great person, and it takes other great people to see that. Don't feel bad because the guy dumped you. Afterall, he could have stuck around and made a fool out of you. Definatley appreciate his honestly.

Be patient! And most of all just continue to be yourself. If you are having fun and taking part in things that you like to do then you will start to look so attractive that you will be noticed by everyone not just guys. I am afraid to say that most of the time it is the female that either gives the guy the obvious go ahead to make the first move or it is her that actually makes the moves - go for it !

Don't change yourself at all. When the time is right, the right one will appear. Just be yourself and quit trying so hard. As soon as you quit trying is when things usually fall into place. Good Luck!!

Many guys will misinterprete your shyness for lack of interests It may be difficult but engage in convesation, ask them questions about themselves that will make them feel you are interested. And above all have fun life it is easy
