Ceiling fans are having multiple blades depending upon the motor used in it and on the operation of it
If the ceiling fan is having 1200 mm sweep then 3 blades
900 mm then 4 blades
number of Blades are just to keep the the operation of fan stable ie non vibrating

Fans need at least one blade. More than one is better if they are going to be rotating so that they can balance correctly. Sometimes 2 is good because each blade costs something to make so fewer may be better. sometimes three is good because it gives more airflow, some fans have 4 or 5 or 6 blades. Some have seven. Some have eight. Some have nine. Some have ten. Some have twenty or forty or more.
All of them have possible reasons.

You will notice that the bigger the fan, the less blades it has. This is because you dont want the fan creating so much pressure that it flies off up through your ceiling like a propeller and into the apartment above yours cutting off the arms and limbs of the people who live upstairs as it goes. Check the mounting on your celing fan and you will find it iss quite flimsy.
By the way, to warm your room, just put it into reverse.

they don't they have 4 or five blades never saw one with 3 blade.
