Same reason some people like certain kinds of music, and not others, or certain foods....it's all a matter of taste.
I feel like some people are influenced by the images they are bombarded with in the media of anorexically thin women.
However, now that I am divorced and re-entering the dating world I am finding that there are men that appreciate a full more rounded woman...Thank God !

I understand your frustration, but it is always good to consider the fact that people's perception of what looks good is reinforced by society. For instance, R&B and Hip Hop artists promote their music through sex. If a woman have a slim body with nice breast and a big butt, they are promoting music. You will not find many "big bone" women in those videos. In short, don't put so much energy into trying to figure out why men go for the skinny women. Yet, mantain your self respect and go good man will see you for who you really are.

Some men have differnt"tastes".Me,I knew one girl who was anorexic and i liked her,but i understand where your coming from.My friend looks at a women thats so skinny you can see her ribs and gos nuts,but a normal good looking girl walking down the street he says is fat.Todays world is fu(k3d up.

well i guess men like women who they could bring home to thier mom. If you look like a whore, then why would they have serious interest in a girl like that.By the looks of your pic, you are slightly over wight, and compensate by looking a little slutty so men will want you... am i right?? i dont mean to offend, but i speak the honest truth. look like a more presentable person, and the men will be interested.

skinny girls never eat infront of their boyfriends, and they never get to eat what or when they want! and thats why they are so dam bitchy and miserable. I would take a chunky chic over a tooth pick anyday!
