do u still drink beer or switching to cider?? new ciders on market new craze drinking it chilled with ice......blackthorns siruis is nice i must admit......what do u prefer........??? whats the best cider????

im a cider drinker, love olde english especially in the tin. magners is nice as well. strongbow is ok, scrumpy jack now theres a kick in the balls dry as hell but ice cold its palatable. i would say olde english is the best. its about the only booze the english make better than the irish.

I have always been a cider drinker. My fav is Olde English. Cider is a cool drink to have now - spesh Magners - it didnt used to be though!! But I have never liked beer or lager. Its cool that its now a cool drink, because now you can go into a pub and they nearly all sell it, whereas even just a couple of years ago, you couldnt get it. So im all for this new craze!!

No -- cider is not the new beer.
Cider is to beer as frilly pink blouses are to men's sports jerseys.
Cider is to beer as a yellow VW bug is to a Porsche 911.
Cider is to beer as ballroom dance is to rugby.
That is to say -- there is a place for cider -- but not in my hands.
Of course, I'm excluding wussy beer like Corona or Coors -- which I wouldn't be caught dead drinking.

i prefer beer but cider is ok, a bit put off after having some with a mate, then opening the same bottle a couple of weeks later and the taste was absolutely foul as you would expect!

i think it tastes like crap its is the new beer recently in the summer more pubs and clubs have been selling it alot more since the hot weather but i thought cider was the alcoholics cheap and easy way to get drunk quick trip down to the off licence 6 cans for a fiver go and find a nice bench to sit on and get absolutely rat arsed

Don´t mix cider with beer, you´ll get a splitting hangover, it´s almost like drinking bubbly wine.

Well...beer isn´t so good, i prefer dry English apple cider like Strongbow - it´s fresh and sparkling- tastes like a big green apple to me!

I rather have cider over beer. It is stronger and has a better flavour. And it is growing in popularity.
Try it with blackcurrant juice, nice SnakeBite!
