I agree with getting those wire sheaths that protect your wires, not only will it be an extra barrier, but it certainly neatens up the back of the PC!
Then, what I recommend is to just get some orange or lemon peel and spray the oil that comes out of the skin when you squeeze it onto the wires. Cats don't like citrus, but it's not poisonous to them, and hey, a PC that smells of oranges can't be a bad thing!
She's probably chewing because she's teething. Get her some toys, like a small teddy or one of those mice from the petstores that is made out of rabbit skin and sprinkle them with dried catnip, pretty soon, with the citrus behind the PC, and the alluring smell of her toys - she'll only be chewing on those!

Put a little amonia on them or near them.......or use a spray bottle with water in it...and everytime the kitten goes near the wires..or actually anywhere else it shouldn't be....just give it a spray.......You could also get one of those little towers for kittens that have dangly things and shelves they can climb on....they are covered with carpet and cats love them.......good luck.

Get a spray bottle with water in it and spray her every time she does something you don't want her to do. They learn pretty fast with this technique. Or rub a little nail polish remover on the wires, even when it dries it still has a horrible taste. Or get some stuff to stop nail biting and rub it on there. It will taste horrible to her and she will stop bitting on it.

squirt it with water, she doesn't know any better - she is still so innocent.
if she electrocutes herself, it isn't your fault.
Try getting wire organizers at your stationary store, they are covers to put over the wires, this usually resolves the problem, eventually the kitten will get over chewing your wires if it can't get to them.
Just wait till it gets bigger, and tries to wrap its jaws around things. Its funny, but I've forgotten how many times I've had to pry my cats head off of cardboard box corners and corners of furniture. Stupid cat, its what makes them so precious doesn't it. Their unfailing Innocence.

I know when I had a cat (10 years ago) they had a product out called "OFF". For some reason we can't smell it but the cats can and they despise the smell. They will stay off of anything if you spay this stuff on it.
Good Luck

I had to get a wireless keyboard and mouse back when I had a PC - I tend to wrap all the electrical cords in lengths of vacuum hoses to keep the little terror out of them.

My cat always did that, she never outgrew that. Hopefully she'll get a little shock and learn her lesson. The water thing never worked for me, and I wouldn't hit my cat with a newspaper. Cats aren't trainable like dogs. Well except siamese cats.

You have to inforce the no word with punishment. Slapping of a newspaper to the desk when saying or squirting with water. Reward her or him when they are by your side but not getting on the desk. It works.
