In respiration:
Our body burns food to get energy
Food is in the form of Glucose.
When we exercise, our muscles use energy. So the blood has to transfer more oxygen to the muscles.
This requirement is sometimes not met.
So the muscle cells sometimes perform anaerobic requirement (respiration without the use of oxygen) to meet up the requirement.
The difference between the 2 types of respiration (with oxygen and without oxygen) is that when oxygen is present, glucose completely breaks down in carbon dioxide and water releasing a huge amount of energy. In the absence of oxygen, glucose is nmot completely broken down and forms Lactic acid and a little amount of energy.

I am not clear about the change in circulation but I guess that the blood flow will increase as the blood has to transfer more oxygen to the muscles.

When you work out, your heart rate will increase to start flowing the nessesary incrediance for your body to burn and to stay active. the resperations frist haven't heard of ones with no O2....... you'll be dead if that happens, but they increase along with everything else to provide the O2 your body needs to keep going
