Do you feel sad when you see all the people on Y! Answers bashing Christians because they are to selfish to realize the truth? They are more interested in adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, eagerness for lustful pleasure, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. Doesn't it make you wish that there was really an "Easy" button like in those Staples commercials?

I don't feel any contempt towards the people who do this, I love the people, but hate the way they act. I was just wondering if there was anyone else who are tired of hearing people be so rude to Christians. I also realize that the same people are rude to everyone, but that doesn't justify their actions.

The problem there is that all those people who more interested in themselves and their sin ARE the people who have the easy button, and push it regularly. It's easier to believe that right and wrong are whatever we make them than to follow a God who defines right and wrong. So, if I were the one pushing the easy button i have a feeling I would be just like them.
God bless :)

Everyone has a right to their opinion. We are told in the bible that if we choose Jesus we will be hated alongside him. So, it is no surprise so many bash Christians. Admittingly, there are bad and fake Chrisitans out there. Many many Christians are leading people down the path of hell by their actions and misrepresentation of Jesus. True Christians are trying to share Jesus in a positive way as to add to the kingdom. Nothing is greater than that. Chrisitanity is not harmful to children, as one answered here. That is absurd. I have very loving, well-behaved, sharing, and compassionate children. I have seen kids who walk into church rebellious and angry and then accept Jesus and their whole attiutude changes for the BEST. I have seen God working in my life and the lives of others only for the better. It is a shame so many are blinded.

You've picked only one tiny percentage of people to feel sad about?

Lots of people on Y! Answers bash Christians, but not all do it "because they are to selfish to realize the truth" ... that statement encompasses only a small group of folks.

Ya know, sometimes my kid says things to me with the intent to hurt my feelings; but because I'm an adult and I love her, I just keep a steady face and show her how ineffective it is to hurt people. I find it more satisfying instead to teach her how to express her real feelings, rather than lash out in pain.

So I say, push the 'easy' button and relax, they're just kids in the throes of learning. Keep steady and love them no matter what.

I bash everyone, not just Christians. And I do not engage in adultery, (excessive) greed, wickedness, deceit, slander, or (excessive) foolishness. This post of yours is really just an excersize in hypocrisy.

People bash Christians because it is Christians too selfish to realize the truth. People will quit when Christians quit following dogma in their belief system that harm children and others.

If you had a big booger sticking out of your nose, I would certainly want to bring it to your attention so you could do something about it on your own. If there was a maniac running around with a gun, I would tell you about it so you could escape injury or death. When I tell you that Jesus is real and cares for you or If I tell you that all you need to do to get your life in order is accept Jesus Christ, I am not bashing anybody. Tomorrow may be too late. God bless you all.

Well, that's not really a compassionate way of looking at things. If someone doesn't realize the -- any truth --- truth, it is because he isn't ready for it yet. People are basically good at heart. That's as close to an easy button as you'll get.

Not being Christian does not mean that the person in more interested in adultery, greed, deceit etc.

BTW, those sins you mention, from what I know, most Christians commit them too!

It does not take being a Christian to NOT commit those crimes.

So pplleeaassee, spare me this nonsensical question!

I do feel sad.. But zach it is our job as Christians to turn the other cheek if possible as christ did.. And to reach those whom are lost, and bring them to the road of salvation. Read 1Cor.14-16, The Bible warns us of these types of people and we need to warn them that people going to realize one way or the other that the Word is true and the tribulation will come.. Just pray and work hard to disciple to those even the ones' who are ignorant.

If there were an Easy button,I fear there would not be too many people left. I believe we should allow others to be whom they are,not our place to judge. Yes,I do feel sad at the state of our society, but all I can do is try to be the person God wants me to be.
