Not where I work, that;s for damn certain, moody bunch of ars+s, I work in a cafe and no matter how damn nice you are the majority of people don't even say hi, just mumble "latte take away" just to repeat them same thing the next day!
But don't let that put you off because smile and perhaps one or two people may smile with you.....and that will have to be enough for now....but we'll get them....we'll get them all to smile........eventually (imagine an evil villain type voice cackling the last part)

Metaphorically speaking, yes. Attitude is everything, and those around you will see a special person if you are of a positive attitude, and indeed smile. They will gravitate to you, and avoide the negative people around them, and near you. Personality gets you places that will amaze you, IF you are genuine about it.
Most people are smart enough to tell the difference between someone who is genuine and those who are fake.
If you can make one person smile a day, or make a few happy for a moment, you'll be remembered more for that, than if you were a "sour grape."

i think this is just a joke .
when we smile the whole world does't smile but d whole world wants us only to cry and also they comes to us to share our happiness with them in which they have not done anything .
but when we cry in front of the whole world the world never comes to us to stop us but they laugh on us .

Depends, at a party with illiegal drugs, they not only smile but hug you too.
On a bus first thing in the morning they look confused.
At a bar with a few drinks flowing they look suspicious and walk away.

Yes, mirror neurons are recently discovered little beauties that show this to be the case.
When someone smiles little cells in out brains think we are smiling to and therefore feel a little happier inside.

yes, when you are happy you think every thing is fine and when you think you are bad every thign looks bad, and when you smile you think the world is smiling with you. it all depends upon your thinking.
