hello:}
no one has said that we all are already in hell !!!do you really think there is a place worse then this where you have to fight with your own conscience and be around war,death ,murderers etc etc etc .
no religion has a free ride to "heaven".free will is working towards choosing to be the best human you can ,and to think a god would make a hell and a heaven ONLY if you follow certain rules -----no one really knows of course but this rapture therory is just that ,a therory .
makes no sense ,spiritual people believe no soul shall perish ,and that doesnt mean they have to accept christ as savior or any number of "THINGS"required .
anyway hell is here on earth with its heavy heavy negativity that we all have to fight through .
peggy:}

I never thought of having pride about going to heaven, and no Christian that is serious would either. This is because nobody ever (apart from Jesus) has earnt the right to go there. Everyone who goes to heaven does so through being a friend of Jesus. This is the same as friends of rich people often benefit from the relationship.
In regards to remorse about the many who won't go, you are right, maybe I should worry, or sympathise, or something. But I don't. It is my responsibility to worry not about the millions I will never meet, it is my responsibility to worry about my "neighbour".
The place you live in has probably had revival campaigns, it has churches, it has Jehovah's Witness's or Mormans who go knocking on every door in the city. These people do a very important job, not just in trying to save people, but also as a sign to those that don't want to be saved that they will have no excuse when they die. My experience is exactly what I just said, there are people who definitely do not want to be saved.
In regards to being right, think of it this way. If you went to bet on horses in a race, one horse was known to always do very well and would win or come second and the track conditions suit this horse, another was a complete unknown, several others run well in certain conditions but the track doesn't suit them. Which would you put the money on? The one which had form.
If I am wrong then what have I lost, nothing. If I am right what have I gained everything. I have everything to gain and nothing to loose by being a Christian.

If you reject Christ you are going to hell, but there is no doubt there are people who haven't heard the gospel because Jesus says that tribulation will happen when the gospel is preached to all nations meaning that hasn't happen yet (Though I feel that day is coming sooner than you think). I believe that those who haven't gotten a chance to hear it will be given a chance after they die to accept or reject Christ because God shows no partiality. So I would be surprised at the amount of people that go to heaven and the ones who go to hell because only God can judge. They are Christians who openly call themselves and are not and there are probably people who are quiet about it in other places in the world because they don't want to be killed. I am proud to be an elect of God, but that doesn't mean we don't feel sorrow for the people that are on their way to hell.
Note: Just because 33% of people claim to be Christians doesn't mean they really are. I wouldn't be surprised if half have not accepted Christ as their personal savior.
P.S. Christians are supposed to care for other human beings but we also believe in justice, consequences, and order. We will accept the fate of loved ones because we will understand God's plan better. I also believe that the second death (the lake of fire) is the death of the soul so I don't believe that those that go to hell will suffer for eternity. God is a merciful God. The first death is of the body and that is hell, but what could the second be? It would only make sense that that is the one of the soul so I am going against the long established Christian doctrine of eternal suffering and going with what I believe is what the Bible indicates.

First, where did you get that percentage from? The bible doesn't give a number that will be in heaven except for the 144 thousand during armegeddon.
Second, no pride felt because it was not a personal acheivement, just a free gift that I didn't deserve. Thankful, yes...pride, no.
Third, I am upset daily over those that die and go to hell. People are dying every day and that bothers me that they die without knowing God. It doesn't have to be that way.
Fourth, when in heaven, the bible says that Jesus will wipe away all of our tears. I think those tears are representative of remorse for those who didn't make it. But, eventually we will overcome our remorse just as we do while on earth if a loved one dies.
**Smelly**
The people that you mentioned are not Christians. They are as much Christian as Hitler was Jewish. Christ said you will know them by their actions, not their words. You can't be that blind.

Rev 14:3 b..no one was able to master that song but the 144,000 who have been bought from the earth.(firstfruits)
Psalms 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.
Daniel 2:44 In the days of those kings the God of Heaven will set up a kingdom, that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom will not be passed on to any other people.It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.
The American government has representatives from all states go to Washington to represent each one. Likewise God has purchased people from every tribe and nation and people and tongue, to rule in the Heavenly Kingdom, the 144,000. Representatives from each state have to be replaced, either their term runs out or they die. In God's Kingdom, these kings will never die or be replaced, hence not passed on to any other people.
Rev 5:10 ..and you made them to be a Kingdom and priest to our God, and they are to rule as kings, over the earth.
The righteous/Christians who are faithful, will be the subjects of the kingdom. Jesus call them the 12 tribes of Israel. They will enjoy a Paradise earth. Rev.21:3,4; Luke 22:28-30.
It is a sad thing that anyone would chose the second death for their eternity, Rev.20:14.

of course there is a heaven and there is hell. Most religions believe in that. Not just christians. I do not take pride in being the 33%. I feel blessed to be chosen by god to know him. Needless to say i would feel sorry for those brothers and sisters who did not believe in god. Thus we should try to spread the love of god so that 100% would go to heaven.

I'm so happy I'm going to heaven when I die!!!! I believe in the Word of God. Jesus commanded us to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned" Mark 16:15,16. Because of this command, I do what I'm told. I tell people all the time about our Saviour. God doesn't want any to perish. He sent His only Son. Everyone has a choice to believe or not. So for the 67% non-Christians, they still have a choice. The gift is still there, whether they choose it or not.

as long as they make it to Heaven who cares how they have been given there? it is like asking, this is extra useful for brand spanking new Christians, Hymns or Christian Rock? It particularly relies upon on the guy, each and every man or woman has a different character and could respond to numerous issues. everyone who says love is the only way needless to say has little adventure in optimum human beings to Jesus and in examining the Bible. This "new age"coaching of not something yet love, is unbiblical and is the same factor being taught be human beings like Oprah. it will be the wear of hundreds of thousands of human beings. Even Jesus had moments of anger.

I would not call it pride is what we feel. I am just very glad God saw me out of the millions upon this earth and chose to knock on my hearts door and save my soul. Its sad when you think of all those who will go to hell. Thats why Christians should witness more. Not saying we should cram religion down there throats. Leave a tract, or tell them what God said in His word and if they do not receive it then walk away. Thats why us Christians need to lead a life where men can see Christ through us. Cause sometimes thats the best way to witness, is just let our light shine.

Not pride, more the feeling of one who spent only a dollar and was the only one to win the $395,000,000.00 Lotto ticket.
The other feeling (67% to hell) is like watching a museum burn there priceless objects in a fire because they can not afford the upkeep, but don't want anyone else to have them. You get to watch as books, rugs, clothing, gems, scrolls go up in smoke.
