True, celery burns more calories than what you comsume from it. But if you find the taste of celery a little bland these are some other options that do have the same effect:
carrots, jicama, watermelon, parsley etc...
The main thing is that you maintain a healthy diet and exercize.

there are foods that are considered minus calory because the energy required to digest them burns calories. celery is a great fat burner, and i love celery . macaroni salad without celery? fresh salad without celery? chili without celery? i could go on and on but would prob lose many points. any raw veggie is a fat burner, so are hard boiled eggs.

Iv'e never heard of it burning fat but....what if I add peanut butter and raisins on top??..hmmm..I believe the correct name for that would be "ants on a log"..lol But I do think that defeats the purpose of using celery as a fat burner huh?? LOL

Not exactly; being mostly water, celery requires more calories to eat then you get out of it. Nevertheless, it's closer to a 'zero calorie' snack then a fat-burner, as you would have to eat quite a lot for any noticeable effect...

I don't mind it so much. Put cream cheese or peanut butter on it. Or use a veggie dip.
