I recently bought a pair of GHD's and have been using heat protection products before hand. Although i still seem to get those little burn bubbles at the tips, is this caused by my straightners?

I have used GHD's for about 2 years now. The best way to use them is to use a damage protection spray (I use aveda) before you dry your hair. Make sure your hair is fully dry otherwise it can cause the bubble effect. Once my hair is dry I use a serum and then I straighten my hair. I then use serum again after I have dried my hair. At present I am using Toni & Guy Moisture Injection Serum, it is really good as some serums can make your hai greasy, this really protects your hair.

if u straighten your hair straight after u put the heat protection products on then u r damaging ur hair more and u have probably noticed that it makes a horrible sizzling sound. i use GHD's, and i would recomend not putting TOO much of ur product in, and also brush ur hair after u put da product in and that should get rid of access moisture before u straighten ur hair.

Its caused by the chemicals from the heat protection products.

Youre probably sprayig on too much and straightening your hair instantly.

Let your hair dry first - then straighten

I use them alot 2, but they wont do as much damage if you use heat protective spray or serum i use Avon "advance techniques" which is really good and leaves your hair softer and shinier!
