GOOD QUESTION!

I'm actually convinced one of the answers to world peace is to ban religion first.

I mean, seriously, because religion is such a sensitive subject, it only causes strife among different believers.

Can't people see that yet?

The Christian God commited murder (eg. Noah ark). The Muslim Allah killed(eg. Ironically Noah ark again)

Why are we worshipping icons who give themselves permission to commit murder?

The two are inseperable. All religion is, is the rules and traditions and practices that one follows in worship of God. Even if the government did as you ask all that would be doing is creating a new religion that bans all others and forces a believe of 1 specific kind. Not to mention intollorance.

Well if we all just believe in God and be happy and co-exist, no one profits by it...
Now add religion to the equation... There's a ready chance for cash... Profits are high... little overhead... You can actually get people to give you a percentage of their earnings... You can play one religion off another in order to expand your profits...
So basically it's all about money... as usual... You are not allowed to just believe and worship God and be happy... There's no profit in that...

You would have to overthrow this government and start a new one. This government (the USA) has as part of its basic premise the freedom to worship as we wish. One entire branch of our government is for the express purpose of keeping that particular thing, freedom, held to the strictest of standards so that we lose not one iota of that one thing, freedom, that we are based upon.

And are you positive you want the government dictating to you whom you will worship? What if they decide you must worship something you honestly don't believe in? No, my friend, do not hand off your freedom so easily, it is a precious thing.

I personally don't want the government to tell me anything. They screw-up everything they touch. What's wrong with religion?? Don't you believe in anything?? If so, could that be called religion?? Don't be a sheep.

All Religion's are False.
Believing in The CREATOR (WHO is a GOD too), is REALITY.
Funny, but GOD (The CREATOR) is LOVE, not Hate.
GOD LOVE's all PEOPLE.
GOD Hate's Evil, which messe's up US (all People).
If everybody is really Believing in GOD, then there should be Peace everywhere. Something's going on here, something's going on...Hmmmmmmmm.....They tell me there's Perfect Peace in HEAVEN, Hmmmmmmm........
