Why would you want to. You have legs, be thankful. Many handicapped people out there would love to use their legs again. My friend hated being in a wheelchair. Oh course Jesus would think it is wrong. So you want to be shot for real-idiot. What is wrong with you? Did your mother drop you on your head when you were born.

1) Guns are not bad in and of themselves; the use to which they are put may be bad; 2) Jesus whould not have approved of lying or of faking being handicapped; 3) Getting shot for real would be really stupid.

I am sure Jesus would not want us to fake something just to prove a point. You can write letters to Congress expressing your concern over guns or join an organization that wants people to be more responsible when owning a gun.

you can't be serious! You can spread awareness without being in a wheelchair........and I don't think Jesus would approve you to lie to people even if for a good cause......The words you say have and impact on people even if you can't see the immediate results, but when the time comes they will remember

I'm sure He'd be a bit upset at your violating the "Thou shalt not lie" commandment. Better get shot for real if you want to be in a wheelchair.

Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Its wrong and a sin to do what you are talking about.
I'd be very careful about such things, because you might find yourself actually needing to be in a wheelchair.

How about if we fake you getting your knees broken with a ball bat to show that sports are bad?
Or maybe we could fake you getting a knife in the spine to show that kitchenware is evil?
Or we could fake you getting hit by a car while riding a bicycle to show that alternative methods of transportation are wrong!
Or we could fake you getting dishsoap poured down your lungs to show that cleaning products are dangerous!

You've got it all wrong. Jesus wass neither anti gun nor anti self defense. In fact he instructed his disciples to buy a sword.
"But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one." - Luke 22:36
Now why would he do this? So his disciples could protect him? Not neccessary since he was the son of God and could take care of himself. He did it so the disciples could protect themselves, especially after he was gone.
