Im american living in romania, i dont speak the language, if i go and get baptised in the church even though i wont understand a thing they tell me, is it still converting?

I'm Orthodox, too. If you go and get baptised in any church on this planet, it means u r converting to that religion. It doesn't matter if you understand or not what the priests says, his preachings etc...He's doing his job, so once ceremony is over, u can consider yourself Orthodox, though you hadn't understood anything.

You are Orthodox if you are baptized in an orthodox church. I do not believe an orthodox priest would baptize you unless you have been through some ortodox education (catechism) first. It is a wonderful church.
