this country was founded on the principal
of separation of church and state.

israel was re established with a homeland
for the jewish people in mind.
you overlooked one thing,

Israel and the US are two different countries. to put a crucifix on the flag would not only be tacky but would go against everything that America stands for. Freedom of religion. By putting a crucifix on the flag, why don't you that this nation is just for Christians and F what you think.

If America had a crucifix on the flag you would probably ignite a riot this country has never seen before.
It would include every religion know with only one exception...Catholicism.
Only the Catholic Church uses the Crucifix, with maybe the exception of the Episcopal church, and its a minor point with them.
And non-Christians? Good grief....they hate anything and everything thats a Christian symbol.

I would be upset, and I'm christian. America is based on religious freedom and separation of church and state. If we were to combine the two, it would be to the detriment of both the government and religion. There are many excellent documents written by the founding fathers on the need to have this separation.

It doesn't, so what's your point?
For the record, I'm non-Christian, but if you're thinking about things like a cross on a city flag, when Christianity's a big part of the city's history, I'm okay. Bigger fish to fry and all that.

Noone is upset about the star of David, except you pal.
Your Anti-semetism stinks;
That IS something we in America reject.
