We had a great time and finally I said to this new girl, "You're place or mine?" and she said "Whaja mean?" I couldn't be bothered to explain and put her on the bus. In the cold light of day, I think I might of cracked it with a bit more patience. What sholuld I have said?

Not being funny or nothing but if you had said that to me on a first date you would be waking up in A&E

I aint supprised she played the dumb card!!! if you both really enjoyed it then take it slow.. no woman just wants to be wined dined and well you know!!!

Well not a classy lady.. trash perhaps... but woudl you really want to date trash!!

I say give her a call organise a day date tomorrow... early enough for a re-run on the old your place or mine.. but hey dont put it like that invite her back to yours a bottle of wine.. a meal... create the atmasphere and melt her heart. Dont go in for the kill.. make her wait.. by the time it comes round it will be like 4th July !!!

In my opinion the girl had a lucky escape. If you have no patience to explain your intentions and feelings, how are you going to communicate in a relationship?

Try to be more polite next time.

Its daft-- but perhaps she was more shocked by the statement u made. Or she may have even expected it!! Be a little more tactful next time and dont suggest having potential quality time with someone so quickly. Girls like the chase

maybe she wanted graphic lurid details of what you intended to do at your place... either that or she's a bit thick so the bus might have been the right option.

If she's that new, you shouldn't be offering her your place or hers.
